Bystřice pod Pernštejnem - Tišnov

Basic information about the trail

From Bystřice nad Pernštejnem we descend through the Nedvědická vrchovina to Tišnov. The biggest attraction on the trail is the state castle Pernštejn, which is located about halfway along this stage. There is a Cistercian women’s monastery from the 13th century Porta coeli (translated as Gate of Heaven) in Předklášteří.

Our tip:

If you want to go to Pernštejn Castle, you will walk less than 2 km along the yellow tourist trail. There is a cafeteria in front of the castle and the Bašta has a beautiful view of the castle.
