As you leave the castle grounds, the path takes you through the picturesque village of Devín, where you can enjoy the charming local architecture and perhaps stop for a refreshment at one of the quaint cafes.
Continuing on, the trail leads you along easy, flat terrain, making it accessible for walkers of all levels. As you approach the outskirts of Bratislava, the scenery transitions from rural to urban. You’ll first pass through a residential area, giving you a glimpse of everyday life in the city.
The trail then guides you around the impressive Bratislava Castle, perched on a hill overlooking the Danube River. This iconic landmark offers stunning views and a rich history to explore. Finally, your journey concludes at the historic St. Martin’s Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece that has witnessed many significant events in Slovak history.
