Lenka Durďáková
Secretary of the Moravian Slovakia Region
According to her, Moravian Slovakia is the most beautiful region of the Czech Republic, capturing her heart from the very first moment. She stumbled into tourism by chance, starting as an intern at the DMO Region Slovácko in 2005, where she has been working, with a brief break, ever since.
Her main goal is not to create entirely new values but to approach existing ones with respect and humility. She aims to work with them, promote them, connect tourism stakeholders, discuss topics, propose solutions, manage risks, analyze data, evaluate, and follow trends.
Implemented projects and activities:
- Introduction of the Traditional Product of Moravian Slovakia brand
Promotion of tourism through the event “Weekend of Heritage Houses, Folk Architecture, and Small Museums” - Author of the project “Cookbooks of Traditional Dishes in Moravian Slovakia I and II”
- Promotion of traditional gastronomy of Moravian Slovakia through the event “Moravian Slovakia Festival of Tastes and Flavours” at the Rochus Open-Air Museum
- Co-organizer of other events (Cycling through the Vineyards of Uherské Hradiště, Blessing of St. Martin’s Wines in Uherské Hradiště, Slovácko in Tradition Parade)
