As a vital segment of the Cyril and Methodius Route, the trail leads outdoor enthusiasts through rolling highland meadows, deep pine forests, and charming mountain villages that showcase the authentic rural spirit of the Horácko region. Starting in Nové Město na Moravě—famous for its historic town square, the Horácko Museum, and world-class winter sports tradition—the route descends gradually through undulating terrain. Along the way, hikers encounter scenic viewpoints, traditional stone and wooden architecture, and peaceful natural stops before arriving at the lively square of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. Designed for active walkers and cultural tourists alike, this stage offers a well-balanced blend of fresh highland air, local traditions, and accessible hiking trails.
