Our path will take us across the border to the small Austrian village of Kleinschweinbarth, where pigs and wine converge – quite an enticing combination, don’t you think? Next, we’ll venture to Falkenštejn, known for its castle of the same name. As we continue from Falkenštejn, imagine the castle walls whispering tales of knights, secret passages, and lost treasures. The path winds through rolling vineyards, their leaves shimmering in the sun, leading us to Poysdorf, where quaint wine cellars beckon, inviting you to taste the fruits of the land. As you walk those charming streets, remember that every step carries the spirit of centuries past. This trail leads along the famous Saint Jacob’s Way, adding a spiritual dimension to your journey. The total distance of the route is 19.4 km, but with these delightful stops, it’ll feel like a fairy tale come to life.
