Even in a bicycle saddle you can travel through Europe in the footsteps of Cyril and Methodius! A group of 130 pilgrims started their long-distance cycling tour on 16 June in Velehrad in the Czech Republic and finished it on 2 July in Turin, Italy. 41 pilgrims - 13 women and 28 men, ranging in age from 76 years to a 15-month-old baby girl - made the pilgrimage. In 17 stages they covered a total of 1800 km and met the famous Tour de France! Next Holy Year, the group plans to continue from Turin along the Via di Francesco to Rome.

Another group of cyclists organized by the sports organization Orel Uherský Brod travelled along the Cyril and Methodius Route to Aquileia in August. This group will also continue next year to Rome.
