Thessaloniki has traced a long historical course and has drawn its own course over time, with converging, among others, elements the historical and cultural heritage of the period of the Roman Empire of the first post-Christian centuries, the life and the acts of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Thessaloniki, who enriched decisively their spiritual life, with their effect evident until our days.

The aim of this presentation is to promote the cultural and historical heritage of Saints Cyril and Methodius and to highlight it at the national, regional and European level. Let us walk on the roads that the two Saints walked, in the temples that they prayed in, at the same buildings that they looked and faced. So let’s ‘travel’ on the roads of the historical and worshiping presence at the city of Thessaloniki, using as ‘tour guides’ the rich photographic material and the accompanying texts.
