The Passport of the Cyril and Methodius Route is a personal document that accompanies every tourist traveling along the historical route.
Currently, the Passport is designed primarily for the collection of stamps from any location you visit along the route. While there are designated InfoPoints of the Cyril and Methodius Route, for the most up-to-date information and to ensure you receive a stamp, it is recommended to contact the Permanent Secretariat directly via email at info@cyril-methodius.eu. They can provide guidance and assistance with obtaining your stamps.
While it doesn’t currently offer specific benefits, it acts as a tangible reminder of your connection to this important historical and cultural path. Your collected stamps will serve as a visual diary of your travels.

Commemorative Certificate: Memorable Journey Certificate
The Commemorative Certificate is awarded to tourists who present their completed Passport, bearing stamps documenting a minimum of 50 kilometers traveled along the Cyril and Methodius Route. This certificate serves as official recognition of your journey along the Cyril and Methodius Route.
Currently, the Commemorative Certificate is available at the Tourism Information Centre in Velehrad, Czech Republic. To receive your certificate, present your passport with the required stamps to the staff at the information center.
We are actively working to expand the availability of the Commemorative Certificate to other locations along the route in partnership with our members and collaborators. As these arrangements are finalized, information will be made available through the official Cyril and Methodius Route channels.
While the process is currently simpler than that of some other long-distance routes, the Commemorative Certificate remains a meaningful testament to your dedication and experience on the Cyril and Methodius Route. It serves as a lasting reminder of your connection to this important historical and cultural path.
